Sources and accuracy
Where the text comes from, how references are shown, and what to do if you find a mistake.
The Quran text
The English translations are shown exactly as published.
- Arabic: Uthmani script (Tanzil / King Fahd Complex, via Quran.com)
- Translation: Saheeh International
- Translation: Mufti Taqi Usmani
- Transliteration: a guide to pronunciation, not a replacement for the Arabic.
The text was downloaded from Quran.com on 14 August 2026 and is stored with the site, so the text you read stays the same.
A translation is not the Quran
A translation carries the meaning into another language, and careful translators still differ. That is why each verse page offers two.
Hadith
Every hadith is shown with its collection, number and grading: Sahih, Hasan, Hasan Sahih, Da'if (weak) or Mawdu' (fabricated). Weak and fabricated reports are clearly marked, and if a grading comes from a particular scholar, their name is shown too. A hadith is not quoted here unless its grading is known.
Articles, duas and reflections
Each one lists its sources at the end of the page, with links where possible.
Not a fatwa
Nothing on this site is a religious ruling (fatwa). For questions about your own situation, ask a qualified scholar.
