Qul araaytum in atakum AAathabuhubayatan aw naharan matha yastaAAjilu minhualmujrimoon

Say, "Have you considered: if His punishment should come to you by night or by day - for which [aspect] of it would the criminals be impatient?"

Say, “Just tell me, if His punishment befalls you at night or by day, what (desirable thing) will it have that the sinners are asking it so hurriedly?
